Introducing Lawyer Chris Moryto
Chris’ practice focuses on real estate law, wills and estates, civil litigation and family law. Chris has successfully represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Registrar in Bankruptcy and the Small Claims Court. Prior to joining Scott Furlong Ford, Chris had a general litigation practice at a Vaughan, Ontario law firm.
Chris obtained his law degree from The University of Western Ontario where he received the Osler, Hoskin, Harcourt LLP award for highest standing in corporate finance. While at Western, Chris volunteered at the Western Business Law Clinic and completed exchange programs in the Masters of Comparative Business Law program at the University of Mannheim in Germany and at Duke University’s Asia-America Institute in Transnational Law in Hong Kong. Chris is also a graduate of the commerce program at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business and has completed all three levels of the CFA Program.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing hockey, traveling and learning more about finance
