R.J.’s practice focuses primarily on Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, Plaintiff-side motor vehicle accident litigation, Plaintiff-side long-term disability litigation, collaborative family law and family law.

R.J. attended Trent University from 1993 to 1996. He attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University from 1996 to 1999, graduating with his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. He was called to the Bar in 2001, joined the firm in 2003 and has been practicing law since 2001.

R.J. served on the Board of Directors for the Whitby Dunlops from 2004 to 2015. He was part of the Whitby Dunlops’ Executive Committee from 2005 – 2015 and was the Chairman of the Board from 2006 to 2015. R.J. served on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of Durham Region from 2004 to 2015.

R.J. has served on the Board of Directors for the Durham Crusaders since 2014. He enjoys coaching minor sports. He has coached for the Durham Crusaders, the Oshawa Kicks, the Whitby Lions and the Whitby Minor Lacrosse Association.

R.J. is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyer’s Association.
